In the UK, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty developed ABUSE IS NOT LOVE in partnership with the non-profit organization Women’s Aid.
Women’s Aid was born 46 years ago when a few refugees joined together to coordinate resources and actions to defend women globally. Today, this federation is composed of 250 organisations aiding female survivors of domestic violence. It also leads a national campaign on the topic to influence the country’s politics.
Women’s Aid partnership is grounded on two strategic projects. Firstly, focusing on youth prevention and education on domestic violence to create a world where every woman’s right to equality and freedom from violence is unquestioned. Secondly, encouraging widespread engagement with schools across England to improve education for children and young people on domestic violence through the Safer Futures project. The project includes the Expect Respect Toolkit, providing schools with age appropriate resources and tools to help understand what domestic abuse is.
Yves Saint Laurent Beauty supports the organization in its prevention actions.
